Meet Hank
Hank is a wise old soul. Estimated to be between 50 and 60 years old, Hank has likely seen more in his lifetime than we ever will—but he greets every day with a calm heart and a curious spirit. While there’s no exact way to determine his age, his size and demeanor tell the story of a life long lived. Originally kept as a personal pet, Hank eventually outgrew his owners both in size and in age. Hank lives a safe, loving life, where he can live out his golden years with dignity and comfort. Despite everything he’s been through, Hank is incredibly friendly and adores attention, especially gentle scratches on his neck. His favorite treats are prickly pear cactus, dark leafy greens, and the occasional sweet banana. Often, you'll find him diligently working on his burrow, demonstrating that even in his older age, he still takes pride in his tortoise instincts.
