Meet Katie.
Katie is a lively long-tailed macaque with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. While we don’t know her exact age, she’s believed to be around 4 years old. Full of energy and always on the move, Katie is curious, clever, and endlessly playful. Katie was kept as an illegal pet. Thankfully, she was rescued and is now safe, thriving, and living her life to the fullest! She isn’t a picky eater either—her diet includes a colorful mix of fruits, veggies, and a specially formulated primate biscuit. Katie will try just about anything you offer her (as long as it’s safe and nutritious for monkeys, of course!). One of her greatest loves is water. Whether she’s splashing, soaking, or simply playing around, water brings out her most joyful side. With big emotions, bold expressions, and a spirited attitude, Katie lights up every space she’s in.
