Meet Hope the Pig

Hope was at risk of being used for meat if she couldn’t find a home. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time and given a second chance at life. Today, she enjoys a peaceful life as a beloved companion, roaming a half-acre of land while she waits for her forever home. Her exact age is unknown, but she’s estimated to be around 8 years old. Hope’s personality shines through every day—she loves building cozy nests out of anything she can find, showcasing her intelligence and creativity. When it comes to food, Hope can be quite the picky eater, especially with vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus. But don’t be fooled she has a BIG appetite! Her diet includes a variety of vegetables, specially formulated pig feed, and occasional fruits like apples and watermelon (her favorites). She also spends her days rooting, a natural and enriching behavior for pigs. Hope’s story is one of resilience and second chances, reminding us that every animal deserves the opportunity to live safely, peacefully, and with dignity.
